In CW-EPR spectroscopy, a successful measurement is influenced by many parameters, both instrumental and experimental. The most significant aspects of the measurement are the ability to detect very low concentrations of the species of interest while also obtaining a highly resolved EPR spectrum. The final result is defined by the sensitivity and the resolution of the spectrometer, where the following components govern these two properties:
